About the Author
Jenn Scott is a living historian, researcher, and writer based in Edinburgh where she works as Secretary and Archivist for the Stewart Society. She is primarily interested in the period from the Wars of the Roses to the Jacobite Risings, and is actively involved in the interpretation, promotion and protection of Scottish battlefields. She has spent 20 years developing her understanding and knowledge of the clothes and material culture of the past. Jenn studied politics at the University of Edinburgh and has an MA in Heritage from University of Surrey.

I am happy to add this to my library as it provides some information I'd not had previously. Having been interested in military history and uniforms for probably 60 years now I am always looking for new material, and this provides it. There are several pages of color uniform plates and I was pleased with them. if the era or the subject is of interest, worth getting.
This is a fine addition to my growing Jacobite library. If you're interested in Jacobite clothing, weapons, and such (the real one's, not those portrayed on TV), this should be one of your purchases. You won't be disappointed.
